Last summer, I spent a little time in the Canadian Rockies with my dear housemate from London, Loz. We had already taken in a couple of smaller hikes that would take a morning or an afternoon but now it was time for an all dayer. So we took on the Iceline trail via Little Yoho.
My hike in Grotto Canyon (Bow Valley) was the first step into the Canadian Rockies and the first of my trip with Loz, my housemate from back in the UK. This her first trip to north of the boarder and therefore her first experience in the great Canadian wilderness.
Whilst moseying around the Canadian Rockies we found ourselves looking for something exhilarating to kick off our trip. Then we found Via Ferrata. Not QUITE sure what it was at first, we then saw it involved climbing mountains – so we decided to check it out. Boy, are we glad that we did
